The Followers

A follower after a goal,
With my head, and body members
I’ll run after, hold with my heart
what my eyes and mind have desired.

For if I stand still, I’ll rot soon
A follower after a goal,
I must pursue to overtake
To achieve all that I can now.

Not all followers would lead
But, all leaders once followed.
A follower after a goal
Sees not mockery and jibes.

Like bees producing sweet honey,
Pursue, follow, achieve greatness
Focus, stand firm, and steady like
A follower after a goal.
