Day 27
Poet!c OracLe
Day 27!
The death toll rings!
Farther from the abyss!
Closer to the hills, from whence we must fall, to again be born!
Oluwadamilola Hybrid
Day 27…
Heaven, she has me often visit
Her kisses, they spoil me silly
I’ll ask her to grow old with me
Leonell Echa
It was Day 27 after 6:26
Many mass burials, many still feeling sick
Midnight saw the carnage,  the morning just took the heat
These were the early days in 1956

Andrew Patience
A narration of timeless whispers I wish not tell,
A bargain I will not draw but let pain be your curse,
Your burdens will heal my wounds
For 27th was the day I lost me.
Northpriest Judha
Some of us were baptised without our consent and Believed what we weren’t allowed to question. So,what we practice appear to us as the only morality. A man often beliefs his doctrine’s account of creation. Are you Saying we can’t have a 13th month? Or decide to make the calendar conclude on the 11th?

    27th
The day the huge blow was dealt
The Crucifixion of sin and he'll
No words are eloquent enough to tell
    27th
    She recounts history today
Though the son of man was slain
But the fetters of death couldn't keep Him chained
    27th
