EB FLIP CHALLENGE 3

EB Arts Organisation is a social initiative that seeks to promote the culture of education. Education that hinges on every form of art and civil involvement in creative thinking that promotes societal harmony while increasing learning.

Founded in 2011 as a nongovernmental platform, EB has succeeded in holding the first Jos Inter-school poetry contest that produced an anthology titled “Through the eyes of Innocence.” Her second project was the “Finding Hope Again Project” that did not just produce yet another anthology from different schools, but also sought to send orphans to school. Her third project was the publication of Letters on Words, a collection of poems from 10 different poets across Nigeria.  Its idea is to build a platform of involvement for expressions in words and actions through arts that blend our cultural heritage while identifying with those borrowed from around the world. fb_img_1480427568392

The F.L.I.P (Fine Letters in Poetry) CHALLENGE is one out of EB’s many approaches to draw knowledge from far and near, while unifying poets and writers to pursue the essence of the art, not just for art sake, but for love for art sake.

We intend to uphold the tradition of poetry and spoken word, and create a universe where meaningful words will thrive. Poetry itself is a very refined art, classic and tasteful. It blossoms in intellectual and creative capacities, while leading the poet to embrace constructive thinking; developing their minds, power of thought and concentration.

The F. L. I. P I & II Challenges had winners emerging from across different states. And while the first two editions requested no sign up fee,  the third edition will require a sign up token from the selected contestants after an online screening exercise.

This challenge serves as an avenue through which poets and aspiring poets can draw strength and inspiration in an environment of healthy competition.
